Keydor – Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 10, 2026
Keydor is operated by a private individual in Germany. Privacy contact: [email protected].
Data and purposes We process account identifiers, email, login information, profiles, photos, messages, events, requests, invitations, connections, saved events, online status, reports and support messages to run Keydor. Profile details can include birth date, gender, location text, Instagram, sport, height and optional weight/body measurements. Login providers and other users may supply information through sign-in, invitations or messages. Technical data includes IP addresses, security logs and notification/installation identifiers.
Legal bases Core account, chat and event services rely on performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); security and abuse prevention on legitimate interests in protecting users and the service (Art. 6(1)(f)). Optional device-location processing relies on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Where a legal duty requires processing, Art. 6(1)(c) applies.
Contacts and visibility With contacts permission, email addresses from your address book are sent to our backend to find registered users; the submitted list is not stored as an address book. Others may find your profile using your registered email. Shared profiles, age, enabled body measurements, online status and events are visible to other users; messages go to conversation participants. We do not sell personal data.
Location Tap Use my location to request permission, center your map and show event distances. Your position is shown only to you; the device-location sample is not uploaded to Keydor’s Firebase backend or shared with users. It stays in memory until you turn off location display, leave the map or revoke permission. No background location access. Map pins show event places, not people’s live locations; profile location text is separately shared. Browsing works without location access.
Providers and transfers Google/Firebase provides Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions and Cloud Messaging; Apple provides sign-in, notifications, MapKit and Core Location. Google Sign-In is also available. Providers may process data outside the EEA, including the US. Google describes its EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification and transfer safeguards in Firebase privacy information. Apple’s processing is explained in its privacy policy.
Storage and deletion Account content is kept until you remove it or delete your account in the app. Deletion removes the account, uploaded files and associated events, chats and connections. A minimal account-ID/deletion-status record remains to prevent queued operations from recreating deleted data. Provider logs and backups have separate retention; Firebase documents up to 180 days for deleted Authentication data to leave live and backup systems. Contact-matching requests are processed transiently; a usage counter prevents abuse.
Your rights You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to legitimate-interest processing where applicable. Withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Manage contacts, location and notifications in iOS Settings. Contact us below or complain to a data protection authority, including where you live or work.
Age and updates Keydor is for ages 18+. Report underage accounts to us. Policy changes appear here with an updated date.

Keydor – Terms of Use
Effective date: September 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of Keydor.
Account and eligibility You must be 18 or older. Provide accurate information, protect your login and do not impersonate others. You may stop using Keydor and delete your account in the app.
Content and conduct Only share content you have the right to share. You retain ownership and allow Keydor to store and display it as needed to provide your chosen app features. Do not post illegal content, harass, threaten, discriminate, infringe rights, spam or interfere with the service. Use in-app reporting and blocking, or contact us below.
Events Hosts provide event details and manage participation. A request does not guarantee acceptance. Check arrangements with the host before attending.
Service and moderation Availability may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. We may remove content or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to address violations or protect users. Contact us to dispute a moderation decision. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Liability and licence Statutory liability rules apply; these terms do not exclude or limit them. The applicable App Store licence agreement separately governs the app licence.
